God is Everlasting and will Sustain those that Believe

Verses: Psalms 102: 1 - 28

Song inspired by the chapter:  Song has been uploaded from YouTube.com and is not my original.

My thoughts about the verses:

We have all moments in our life when things seem overwhelming.  We feel this great pressure in our life that we feel will lead to our end.  We often feel that we are all alone and helpless.  We feel as if any moment our life will end because the weight if so overwhelming.

Yet, do we truly realize that God is there.  Those that believe in God have their helpmate with them all the time.  God doesn’t leave us alone.  Instead God is there helping us getting through our toughest moments.  Yet, we are so consumed with our struggles that we miss the help God is giving to us.

See in those moments that seem to be impossible you need to give your problems over to the Most High.  God who loves you will take the weight off of your shoulder.  When you have asked God for the help you will feel the weight lift from you and the impossible will become possible.

Something that we need to know is that God is there with all those that believe.  If you believe in God then you have God helping you in your life.  Yet, when you worry about the problem instead of turning it over to God you do not feel the relief that has come into your life.  You feel as if you are carrying everything when in reality God is there all the time.

God celebrates with us in those moments when things are going good.  God is also with us when things are rough.  We need to remember that God is always there.  What we need to do is turn our struggles over to God.  Allow God to be your helpmate and you will feel the relief that you need in your time of struggles.  It is up to those that believe to ask for the help.  Offering your life over in prayer will lead to the relief that you need.

Prayer:

We thank you for loving us.  We praise you for the help you always give to us.  We honor you for you are our comforter.  Help us always to remember to give our struggles to you.  Help us remember your strength in our times of struggle.  In the name of the Messiah we pray.  Amen

Questions:

Do you believe in the grace of God?  Do you feel overwhelmed with daily struggles?  Have you turned your problems over to the perfect Helpmate?

Surrendering Your Entire Life to Service to God

Verses: Psalms 101: 1 - 8

Song inspired by the chapter:  Song has been uploaded from YouTube.com and is not my original.

My thoughts about the verses:

This chapter deals with the commitment of God’s people to the service of God.  The person that serves God will have the abundance of God added to their life.  Our commitment should be out of our love for God.  This commitment doesn’t come out of fear or desire to have rewards.  When you commitment to service comes from loving God you will be blessed with more than you could ever imagine.

This psalm was likely written by King David as a promise to God.  The promise was from a King to the Sovereign God to defend the land and to listen to God during service.  Other Kings of Israel would follow suit in making the same promise to God.  They all failed in fulfilling that promise to God.

We too need to make the same promise.  We need to offer our life over to God.  We need to promise to live up our life spreading the love of God.  We need to promise to protect the story of our Savior.  We need to offer our home, body, over to God to use as seen fit.  See what we miss is that we are not to make everything happen.  What we need to learn is that we often have to let go and let God be in charge. We learn in those moments that our servant hood is what is important to God.

Prayer:

We love you dear God.  We thank you for your love.  We praise you for always being with us.  Help us give our lives to you.  Help us be the people that love you.  Help us to never turn away.  In the name of the Almighty God we pray.  Amen

Questions:

Have you given your life over to God?  Have you promised to love God throughout your entire life?  What do you need to give to God today so that you can serve God with all of your heart?

Hallelujah, Sing Praises to God

Verses: Psalms 100: 1 - 5

Song inspired by the chapter:  Song has been uploaded from YouTube.com and is not my original.

My thoughts about the verses:

Hallelujah, God is faithful to all.  Any person that trusts in God will find God to be faithful.  God will be with you for all time.  God will never abandon you.  God deserves to be praised because of God’s faithfulness to us.

Hallelujah, God is love.  God is the very essence of never-ending love.  God will love you through all situations.  God loved you so much that the Messiah was sent to give us everlasting life.  God deserves to be praised because of his never-ending love.

Hallelujah, God is our Creator.  We are God’s people.  God made each and every one of us.  God made each of us just the way we are.  There are no flaws in the creation.  God deserves to be praised because of the perfect creation which each one of us.

Hallelujah, God is worthy of praise.  We are to lift our voices and sing praises to our God.  We should enter into God’s presence daily offering up to God our praises.  We need to worship God for God is always faithful to us.  We need to worship God for the never-ending love we receive.  We need to worship God for crating us as the perfect creation that we are.  Come into the presence of God with praise and thank God for all that you are and all that you have.

Prayer:

We praise you God.  We worship you for your faithfulness to us.  We thank you for your never-ending love and mercy.  We praise you for crating us to be who we are.  We come into your presence offering up our praise.  Thank you O Holy One For all you have and will do in our lives.  In the name of the Almighty we pray.  Amen

Questions:

When is the last time you praised God?  Do you feel Gods faithfulness in your life?  Have you thanked God for loving you forever?  Do you accept that God made you to be the perfect creation?  Have you accepted God’s mercy in your life?

Holy is Our God, Lift up your Voices in Adoration

Verses: Psalms 99: 1 - 9

Song inspired by the chapter:  Song has been uploaded from YouTube.com and is not my original.

My thoughts about the verses:

The name of God is holy.  The God of love is worthy to be praised.  The fact is that we need to offer our praises daily to God.  There is no one or anything that deserves the praises that we should offer up to the Most High.

We often take time to praise God for the things that God has done in our lives.  We thank God for the blessings and miracles that we see in other people’s lives.  Yet, do we also praise God for being Holy?  The fact is that God should be praised just because God is Good.

It is easy when we see things happen to offer praises to God.  It seems to get harder when you praise God for just being God.  We need to make sure that we offer praises because God is holy.  We need to praise God out of our love and commitment to the Holy One.

See praising God doesn’t always have to be about what God has done for us.  We need to come to the understanding that we should freely offer up our adoration to God.  We need to understand that God deserves our adoration.  We should always lift our voices up in praise.

Lift up your voice and praise God for being holy and just.  Lift up praises to the Creator of the entire Universe.  We should go to God and extol our love for the Holy One.  In all things that we do we need to praise God.  We have to remember that God is always just and fair.  God is holy and deserves our gifts of praise and worship.

Prayer:

We worship you God for you are Holy.  We thank you God for you never-ending love.  We worship you for you are worthy of our praise.  We ask that you help us to always keep our eyes focused on you.  We ask that you help us remember to praise you in all things.  In the name of the Holy One we pray.  Amen

Questions:

Have you accepted God into your life?  Do you offer up to God praises?  Have you made the worshipping of God the focal point of your life?

Praise God for the Victory

Verses: Psalms 98: 1 - 9

Song inspired by the chapter:  Song has been uploaded from YouTube.com and is not my original.

My thoughts about the verses:

Sing praises to God.  Sing Praises to the Victorious.  God has sent the Son to free us from our own sins.  We are given the gift of eternal life.  God has given new life to the people.

Jesus came to the Earth and conquered death.  Jesus went to the cross with victory in sight.  Jesus knew that the cross would lead him to the victory that he had come to fulfill.  Jesus went to the grave but three days later rose to claim the ultimate victory.  The grave did not end the power and strength of Jesus instead it multiplied it.

We have to realize that we need that gift in our life.  Once we have the gift we to become victorious over death.  God gives us the everlasting life that we long for.  Our life has a purpose from that day forward.  We need to share God’s love with others.  We need to let the light of God shine through us.

We will need to realize that we need to offer praise up to God.  We need to praise Jesus for the victory over death.  We need to thank God for the gift of everlasting life.  We need to worship the one that has given us all that we ever need.

Prayer:

We praise you God for your love.  We praise you Jesus for rising out of the Grave.  We praise you for the victory over death.  We praise you for giving us everlasting life.  Help us to never forget what you have done for us.  In the name of the Risen Savior we pray.  Amen

Questions:

Have you accepted the savior into your life?  Have you accepted that Jesus is the victor over death?  Are you showing Jesus’s love to other?  Are you being the testimony that others need to find Jesus for themselves?

God is the Alpha and the Omega

Verses: Psalms 97: 1 - 12

Song inspired by the chapter:  Song has been uploaded from YouTube.com and is not my original.

My thoughts about the verses:

God is the beginning and the end.  God is the Holy One that deserves praise.  God is the Creator who gives us all life.  God is the Heavenly Parent that gives us love.

Jesus is the beginning and the end.  Jesus is the Messiah that came to set us free.  Jesus is the Savior who died for us on the cross.  Jesus is the Blessed One that loves us for who we are.

The Holy Spirit is the beginning and the end.  The Holy Spirit is the comforter that calms our fears.  The Holy Spirit is the Dove that brings peace to all.  The Holy Spirit is the Guide who helps us throughout our life make the right decisions.

See the Trinity is the beginning and the end.  The Trinity is the Alpha and the Omega.  In this we need to offer praise to God for all that has been done in our lives.  We need to worship the One that gives us the gift of everlasting life.  We need to offer thanks to the One that walks with us each day.

There is nothing else in our life that deserves more thanks than God.  We have to remember that God is the one that loves us no matter what we do.  God guides us to help others.  God works through us to bring peace to others.

Prayer:

We praise you God for your love.  We thank you for all you have done in our life.  We worship you for you are Holy.  We love you for you loved us first.  Help us to always remember to always offer your praise.  Help us to walk in the name of the Holy One.  In the name of the Trinity we pray.  Amen

Questions:

Have you accepted God into your life?  Have you given thanks to God today?  Have you accepted the gift of everlasting life?  Are you living your lift to show others Jesus?
